At Duke RUOFUS Gym we have three levels of sponsorship operating:
- We as a gym are sponsored by Russian Tobacco Factory, Inc. (tobacco raw material suppler) , Sandee USA (equipment suppliers), Ultim Fight (fight wear) and Boom Entertainment (games developer)
- Partial sponsorship of foreign fighters
- Full sponsorship of Thai and foreign fighters
The principles of sponsorship are the same in all three cases. The sponsor offers some sort of direct or indirect financial investment in a person or brand (in this case Duke RUOFUS Gym). This is done so the sponsorship can help with developing the person or business. Providing the sponsorship investment is successful, it benefits the sponsor to be associated with that success. This concept is of course not restricted to the world of Muay Thai. It applies the world over, especially in business or sport.
